Week 2 Posting - Navigating Your OS

Hello everyone and welcome to week two! This week I'd like to share a couple of resources with you to make navigating Windows 10 even easier.

First of all let's talk about the Start Menu. In Windows 10, you can easily change what you see in your start menu by going to the Start Menu folder in file explorer. There are a couple ways to get there, but my favorite is simply hitting Windows key + E and typing start menu into the search/address bar (more on keyboard shortcuts later). You can also resize the menu itself, resize individual tiles, remove those pesky suggested apps and more. This HowToGeek article gives the breakdown on all your Start Menu customization needs.

As I said earlier, one of my favorite ways to navigate on any OS is through the keyboard. Whether your wireless mouse is dead or the trackpad on your laptop is as responsive as someone in a coma or an EA game server, you can still get to where you need to go. Here's another great list from HowToGeek.  If all else fails, you can always tab, tab, enter your way to your destination.

There's a ton of other ways to optimize your Windows 10 experience for whatever it is you do most, what are some of your favorites?
