Week 7 Posting - Virtual Private Networks
Hello everyone and welcome to week 7! This week we're going to be talking about Virtual Private Networks, otherwise known as VPNs.
What is a VPN?
A VPN is a set of standards that allow remote users to safely and securely connect to a private network, even if they are on the other side of the world, and can create more secure (or even mostly anonymous) internet connections.
I've attached a YouTube video that does a great job of explaining VPN's, how the security works, and the advantages and disadvantages of VPNs. It also features tacos.
