Week 4 Posting - Go With The Flow
Hello everyone and welcome to Week 4! I am having a great time in this class, and I am learning a lot. The focus on troubleshooting, especially in the assigned video this week has me wanting to share one of, if not the most important piece of troubleshooting advice I have ever received:
Everything, and I mean everything is a signal of some kind. Usually--especially in our line of work--it's electrical or mechanical. Whether it's something as simple as, "Is the computer turned on?" or something as complex as "Why can certain users access our website/servers/whatever and others can't?" it all has to do with an issue somewhere in the path of the signal. All we have to do is follow it.
